Return & Cancellation Policy
At Throwback Automotive, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to make it right, within the guidelines below.
General Return Policy
- RMA Required: All returns must be pre-authorized. Contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Returns sent without an RMA will not be accepted.
- Time Frame: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. RMAs expire 10 business days after issuance.

Condition of Returns:
- Parts must be unused and unaltered.
- Items must be in original, undamaged packaging.
- Parts must be clean and free of grease, oil, or other contaminants.
- Restocking Fee: All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
- Shipping Responsibility: Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the part is confirmed defective under warranty coverage. We recommend shipping with tracking and insurance, as Throwback Automotive is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
- Refunds: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of inspection. Shipping and insurance charges are non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these requirements.
Non-Returnable Items
- Installed or modified parts
- Electrical parts (including Optisparks, sensors, and wiring harnesses) that have been installed or modified
- Special-order or custom-made products
- Books, eBooks, and digital downloads
Order Cancellations
- Orders may only be canceled before they ship.
- A 10% cancellation fee applies.
- Refused shipments will incur two-way shipping charges.
Important Notes
- Throwback Automotive is not liable for labor, towing, rental, or other incidental costs that may arise from the use or installation of parts.
- We are available to assist with fitment questions, but ultimately it is the installer’s responsibility to verify that all parts are compatible before installation.
